I am still here!
Just been working on myself lately.....After having a baby some 5yrs ago I have now just begun to realize that it is time to finally lose the "baby weight". So off toWeight Watchers I go and now I am officially down 26 pounds with another 39 to go to get into my Healthy Weight range for my age! So I have been doing a lot of re-do in our family recipes and making them Healthier "BUT" Taste the same...SO far so good....No one is complaining and I have found out that ...
1. A little oil goes a long way in a recipe.
2. Cooking from scratch is still healthier than buying any of those processed foods!
3. That I cook very healthy but SERVING sizes was my biggest problem!
4. I am a pretty darn good cook! ( Hey ask my eldest child and she could tell you some stories about my cooking..I think at one time she claimed she was starting to grow feathers from all the chicken we where eating at one time some 10 yrs ago!)
5. The gardening and some planting have taken place so hoping that those fall/spring veggies start coming in soon to save some cost at the grocery store.
More on this later....And I think I will post some of my newly re-done recipes into the mix also... So here is to a New Year !
